Peab builds offices and apartments in Linköping

Peab has been commissioned to build offices and apartments with a connecting garage in city block Konsuln in Linköping. The customer is Fastighets AB L E Lundberg and the contract is worth SEK 344 million.

The project comprises 40 apartments and an office building for around 24,000 m2 in total. The office building will be certified according to The LEED Green Building Rating System level Gold and the apartments according to Miljöbyggnad Silver. The buildings will be erected where the old fire station in Tannefors previously stood.

“We are both happy and inspired to participate in Lundbergs continued development of Linköping,” says Anders Bergeling, Region Manager Peab.

“Collaboration with Peab means that we can take the next step in the process and we look forward to construction start in May. The office building, LINK Business Center, together with the apartment building is one of Lundbergs’ largest projects and an investment that can contribute a great deal to the development of Linköping and the region,” says Daniel Johansson, Project Leader Fastighets AB L E Lundberg.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin in the spring of 2019 and is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2021.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter of 2019.
