Peab has been commissioned to build a hospital on Östermyrankatu in Seinäjoki, Finland. The customer is Kiinteistö Oy Seinäjoen Terveysteknologiakeskus and the contract is worth EUR 30 million.
The building will be a total of 26,310 m2, five stories high and have a basement with a tunnel and ventilation room.
Peab has previously built, among other things, another hospital building that was 33,000 m2 for the same customer.
“This is a project that suits Peab as a community builder. We have already started on the preparatory work and our goal is to achieve a comprehensive good result for both the customer and user, a result we can later proudly communicate,” says Matti Joensuu, Region Manager Peab.
The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin March 2019 and occupation is planned for August 2021.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter of 2019.
