Peab has been commissioned to build a new race track facility at Fannrem in Orklands Municipality in Trøndelag. The customer is Leangentravets Eiendom and the contract is worth NOK 100 million.
Construction is now beginning on the new race track facility Arena Midt-Norge at Fannrem in Orklands Municipality in Trøndelag. The race track will be 1,100 meters and have a width of 19 to 22.2 meters. In connection to the race track Peab will build a 4 meter wide safety track, a 4 meter wide ditch and a 10 meter warmup track. Peab company Solberg Maskin has been selected as general contractor for the infrastructure and race track construction.

The contract includes groundwork, roads, walkways and horse paths as well as fencing, lighting, plumbing and infrastructure for high voltage, electricity and information and communication technology.
Construction will begin immediately and the race track will be ready to open in 2021. The whole project will be completed in June 2022.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2021.
