Peab builds homes in Helsinki

Peab has been commissioned to build two apartment buildings in Oulunkylä in Helsinki. The customer is the City of Helsinki and the contract is worth EUR 13 million, around SEK 151 million.

The project comprises construction of two apartment buildings with a total of 78 apartments and two commercial spaces. One building will be five stories high and the other six with a loft for residents. In addition, two parking areas with protection will be built.

“This project will be a great continuation of our collaboration with the City of Helsinki with whom we currently have six ongoing joint projects,” says Ilkka Laakeristo, Region Manager Peab Finland.

The project will begin in November 2024 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2026.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2024.
