Peab builds homes in Lindvallen

Peab has been commissioned to build one hundred homes in Lindvallen. The customer is Skiab and the contract is worth SEK 135 million.

Peab will build a hundred apartments for rent that will be located in a two story building with a wooden facade. The building will be in a new area that is being developed next to the commercial area in Lindvallen. The building will be certified according to Miljöbyggnad Silver.

"I'm very pleased that we're continuing to build in Sälen. We have broad experience and employees with a high level of expertise in building in a mountain environment. This is an attractive area and a growing and developing destination," says Fredrik Timan, Region Manager Peab.

"It feels good to continue to deliver memorable mountain experiences to even more guests. It's great that we'll be able to offer our guests in Lindvallen attractive accommodation for the 2026/2027 season at a total volume of around 600 new beds," says Henrik Lundmark, Property Director at SkiStar AB.

Skiab, which is the developer of the holiday homes, is a joint venture owned by SkiStar and Peab.

"The project in Sälen is a key element of Skiab's work to develop modern, high quality and sustainable housing in the Swedish mountains. We’re therefore really pleased that we’ve succeeded in realizing this project in a great location in Lindvallen,” says Matilda Öberg, MD of Skiab Invest AB.

The project is a turnkey contract. Work will start in April and is expected to be completed in November 2026.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter 2025.
