Peab has been commissioned to build a new central kitchen for Palvelukeskus Helsinki in Vantaa. The customer is Kiinteistö Oy AB Pakkalantie 30 and the contract is worth EUR 35 million, corresponding to approximately 402 million Swedish kronor.

Palvelukeskus Helsinki is establishment function of the City of Helsinki that supports the city's preschools, schools and educational institutions as well as the welfare sector with basic services such as meal, cleaning and care services.

The project consists of a building divided into spaces for food production, food distribution, logistics and technical facilities as well as support functions.
