Peab has been commissioned to build a bus depot in Lockarp in Malmö. The customer is Region Skåne and the contract is worth SEK 339 million.
The new bus depot will be built in the southern part of Malmö, south of the E6 in Lockarp. The facility will comprise a main building with offices, personnel rooms, a workshop and bus wash along with connected side parking and a receiving station. The gross area of the buildings will be around 9,000 m2 and the property is 71,000 m2.

The project is a turnkey contract. Work will begin in April and is expected to be completed in February 2027.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2025.
