Peab has been commissioned to build the new holiday home complex Trysil Suites in Trysil. The customer is Skiab and the contract is worth NOK 194 million, about SEK 185 million.
Trysil Suites will consist of 37 holiday apartments located in the heart of Norway's largest alpine destination, Trysil. The apartments will be top notch and range in size from 81 to 195 m2. Facilities include ski-in/ski-out facilities, a garage, gym and separate storage rooms for sports equipment. Many apartments will also have private balconies or terraces with views of the Trysil Mountains.
The new vacation home complex will be connected to the Radisson Blu Resort via an indoor passageway providing residents with access to amenities such as a spa, pool and restaurants.
"We’re very grateful for being chosen to carry out this exciting project. Peab has broad experience and expertise in this type of development that has a strong focus on quality and an efficient design and construction process," says Per Ivar Rasmussen, District Manager at Peab's construction operations in Norway.
Skiab, which is the developer of the holiday homes, is a joint venture owned by SkiStar and Peab.
The project is a turnkey contract. The project will start in May 2025 and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter 2026.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2025.
